Announcements

Liebherr - Betty

Want to do 4 lunches a month the 2nd Friday of Each Month. - This was approved at a club level. We are going to run with it until the end of the year and then reassess.

We can confidently cut back the number of volunteers per event, as we all know what we are doing. However, people might need to do four in a quarter.

Board Meeting - David Uhe

Next week is the Board Meeting, starting at 430pm, followed by a projects night.

Merle Taylor - Leafy's Legacy

Leafy's Legacy is a memorial fund for Merle's Son, Chris ‘Leafy’ Taylor who passed away.

Started a memorial seat at Claugthon Reserve, Ashfield. which is accompanied with a Ring Phone, where people can have a chat with Chris, a memorial from Chris's Kids, and a soul tree.

Joined the Helping Parents Heal. Started a Memorial fund for Chris, raising funds for Brain Foundation, Kaarakin the black cockatoo conservation centre, Road Sense Australia and Connecting Mothers in Grief.

Have run 3 successful fundraisers, with 2 more planned.

Money is held by Australian Communities Foundation.  The ACF,  when Leafy's Legacy decide to donate, will release the money to a registered charity.
